DIED SUDDENLY
N.S.W. POLICE CHIEF
SYDNEY, June 9
The Acting-Commissioner of the New South Wales police, Mr. Frederick James Collings, died suddenly today, aged 59. He was regarded as one of the most able men in the Police Force and was closely identified with the organisation of the police on an emergency war basis.
