MR. ARTHUR GUISE
The death occurred recently of Mr. Arthur Guise, who was for forty years secretary Of the Loyal Antipodean Lodge of Oddfellows. ' Mr. Guise wa& in his eighty-fourth year.
The late Mr. Guise showed great tact and diplomacy during his long service as financial Secretary to the lodge, and earned the esteem and l'egard of all those with Whom he came in contact. The lodge showed remai'kable gi'OWth during his time, and its invested funds increased many times over. It was a tribute to Mr. Guise's ability that during his long period in office uot one penny was lost as a bad debt. The late Mr. Guise had a family of two SOhs and three daughters.
