Mrs. Peter Fraser, wife of the Prime Minister, left last night for' Christchurch. She will return to Wellington on Saturday morning. Mrs. Lionel Cordery, Fendalton, arrived this morning from Christchurch to spend some weeks at Heretaunga while her husband, Dr. Cordery, is in camp at Trenthamu * » Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walls, Martinborough, who are visitors to Wellington, are staying at the Hotel Waterloo. Nicoll, Fendalton, Christchurch. Miss Eileen Blundell has returned to New Plymouth after a short -visit to Wellington. Mrs. J. W. Thomas, New Plymouth, who has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs. R. Hancock, Lower Hutt, has returned home. Miss Mary Baily and Miss Joan Sweetman, Auckland, are visiting Wellington with the University hockey team. They are staying with Mrs. George Anyon, Island Bay. Miss D. Julius, Wanganui, is visiting her cousin, Mrs. F. G. Armstrong, Mount Vernon, Akaroa, to attend the wedding which will take place in Christchurch today of Mr. Vernon Armstrong to Miss Lois Petrie, .daughter of Archdeacon and Mrs. A. J. Petrie, Akaroa.
