SUNDAY'S OBSERVANCE
TOWN HALL SERVICE
ARRANGEMENTS MADE
Preparations for the citizens' intercessory service in the Town Hall on Sunday, in response to the King's call to prayer, are now complete.
A special order of service is being issued. In addition to two short addresses, the Prime Minister Cthe Hon. P. Fraser) and the Mayor (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop) will read portions of the Scriptures, while clergymen and lay-
men from various denominations will take part'in prayer.
The community is undoubtedly ■ impressed with the serious need of the hour, and for the necessity of united intercession to Almighty God. Leaders and representatives from all sections of the nation will be present at the service, including members of Cabinet, members of Parliament, city councillors, and the military authorities.
