When two cycles collided at the corner of Hume Street and Main Road, Lower Hutt, at 6.15 p.m. yesterday both riders suffered injuries which necessitated their removal to hospital by the. Free Ambulance. They were H. A. Brien, grocer, of 134 Richmond Street, Petone, who received a lacerated wound to his scalp and slight concussion, and L. McSmith, a factory assistant, of 17 Railway Avenue, Lower Hutt, who received concussion and wounds to his face.
