TO MEET IN LONDON
SOUTH AFRICAN SUGGESTION
(Received May il, noon.)
DURBAN, May 11. The "Natal Mercury" urges the formation of an Empire Cabinet Committee in London, comprising a member from each -Dominion Cabinet, under Mr. Anthony Eden.
The Committt;' would deal with broad issues of Empire policy, reconv mendations passing on to the War Council through Mr. Eden and the British Cabinet. , "Such a Committee would afford the people of the Dominions the satisfaction of knowing that their views were voiced in proper quarters and dispel fears existing in the Dominion •• that their fate is entirely in the hands of Whitehall," the paper states.
