The rising two-year-old colt by Phaleron Bay from Nasselle, who. was passed in at 275 guineas when offered at the yearling sales at Trentham in January, will race as Proteus. He will carry the colours of Messrs. W. S Goosman and H. Dent. Mr. Goosman is the member of Parliament for Waikato, and is a newcomer to the ranks of owners.
