SHARP RISE IN TIN

LONDON, May 10. Prices of metals, with last week's quotations in parentheses, are as follows:— Tin.—Spot: Buyers, £263 a ton (£254); sellers, £263 15s (£254' ss). Forward: Buyers, £261 5s (£251 15s); sellers, £261 10 s (£252). • Prices of other metals, with those for last week in parentheses, are as follows:— Pig-iron.—llls a ton (same). Antimony .-British, £100 to £102 a ton (same); foreign, £80 to £80, nominal (same). „„ ' ~ Molybdenite.—47s to 50s a unit, nominal (same). Wolfram.—Chinese, 50s 6d to 60s 6d a unit nominal (same).
