LOCAL ENROLMENTS

TOTAL MOUNTING UP

Enlistments in the .Central Military District are mounting slowly but steadily, the numbers enrolling varying from 35 to as low as 6 during recent days. The latest figures show that 5303 men have registered for .service in the district. Of these 3546 have been examined and passed as fit, 372 were temporarily unfit, and 717 were permanently unfit.
