TWO SHIPS SUNK

LONDON, April 22
The Norwegian steamer Bravore (1458 tons) sank after an explosion off the south-east coast of England. Four of the crew were saved and 20 are missing. ■•.,;'
Rotterdam reports that the Dutch vessel Bernisse (951 tons) was sunk off the Norwegian coast. The. crew were saved.
A message from Amsterdam states that a German plane machine-gunned the Dutch trawler Erin in the North Sea. The skipper stated that the vessel's colours were plainly visible.
