Both sides were without a number of last years players, some of whom are with the Forces. However, Taylor (Wellington) and ¥>* Ivenny> Lee > and Grant (Johnsonville), who did not play on Saturday, are to turn out. «^» U<L (from, Wa.lrarapa) was one of the Wellington trialists on. Saturday. Fulton, Cochrane, Egdell Veitch, Thompson, Harvey, Klrschberg, and Stevens were amongst those to show up well for Wellington, as were the Burns brothers, Lyons, Forsyth, A. Kenny, Lewis, Liddle, and Dean for Johnsonville Cochrane scored two tries for Wellington and Crawley and Harvey one each, Fulton converting two. Jones scored a try for Johnsonville, J* Burns converting the try and kicking a penalty goal. The result was: Wellington 16, Johnsonville 8. Mr. E. Mildenhall was the referee.
