Satisfaction that the soldiers had made all the progress possible in the time at their disposal was expressed by the Chief of .the General Staff, Maj or-General J. E. buigan, on Saturday, after inspecting men of the Second Echelon in training at Papakura. "You are well turned out, steady in bearing, and obviously fit," said Major General Duigan, when addressing the troops.
