(By Telegraph—Press Association.) ' AUCKLAND, April 21. Satisfaction that the soldiers had made all the progress possible in the time at their disposal was expressed by the Chief of .the General Staff, Maj or-General J. E. buigan, on Saturday, after inspecting men of the Second Echelon in training at Papakura. "You are well turned out, steady in bearing, and obviously fit," said Major General Duigan, when addressing the troops. "You have done everything you I could have done in the time you have had. here, and I am sure you will.be a credit to your division, and that when the test comes you will measure up to it and behave in the same-magnificent manner as the Royal Navy and the Air Force.'. There is nothing more certain than that the Second N.Z.E.F. will carry on and do its job in the same way as the First N.Z.E.F."
