TONIGHT'S WRESTLING.
The 1940 professional wrestling season will open at the Wellington Town Hall tonight with a bout between two leading heavyweights. Cowboy Dick Raines and Joe Corbett. Men of outstanding quality have been imported by the Dominion Union this year and the material is available for some stirring encounters. Raines's rugged style made him extremely popular with the Wellington public on his previous visit a»d his opponent is a big. heavy man with plenty of speed and vigour and a gift for scientific wrestling. The preliminaries will commence at 8 o'clock.
