AT PALMERSTON NORTH

The funeral train, which will leave Wellington at 10.20 a.m., will reach Palmerston North at 1.37 p.m. and will remain fpyten minutes at "the station. During this period the citizens of. Palmerston North and surrounding districts will pay their last respects in a fitting manner to the memory of the late Mr. Savage. The Garrison Band will be in attendance at the station. As the train pulls out of the station and passes through the square the pipe band will be at the -rotunda and will play a "Lament." Arrangements are being made for the train to pass slowly through the Square. CEREMONY AT OTAKI. When the special train arrives at 'Otaki tomorrow the Mayor will hand a wreath to the Hon. P. Fraser, and will express the sorrow of the resi-. dents of Otaki. A Maori choir ■ will then sing two verses of■ a hymn and the band will play "Abide With Me" as the train departs.
