RIGHT TO BUY AT WHARF

GISBORNE, March IS,

A spirited protest against the action of the Government in prohibiting the, sale of fish over the wharf was made last night at the largest public meeting held in Gisborne tcr a long time. A resolution, carried, with one dissentient, stated that the action had-' de* prived workers of regular supplies of cheap fresh fish and appealed to the Government to restore to the people the right to buy fish at the wharf. '
