VICTORIA LEAGUE'S PAGEANT
On Tuesday night the Victoria League will present its "Spirit of Empire" pageant at the-Masonic Hall at 8 o'clock. The pageant is a particularly fine presentation which has already been produced in Wellington, and which is being put on again in response to repeated requests. The gowns designed by Miss Molly Rodie, are particularly lovely, and are seen to advantage in the ballets produced by Miss Cora Duncan. The pageant is under the direction of Miss Beeby. A second attraction at Tuesday's function will be the one-act comedy "After the Tempest," produced by Miss Mary Butler and also enacted by league members. An advertisement in this issue gi\«es further particulars.
