Mrs. M. M. Billman, Oriental Bay, returned from' Feilding yesterday, where she judged the decorative section of the Centennial flower show. While in Feilding she was the guest of Mrs. W. W. Andrews.
Mrs. A. J. Robertson, Fendalton, arrived from Christchurch this morning to attend the wedding of her niece, Miss Mary Mitchell, Wellington.
Mrs. Eric Williams, Napier, and Mrs. R. White, Clive, are visiting Wellington for the races.
Mrs. Howard Colmore-Williams left Napier yesterday for Wellington to be the guest of Miss Audrey Anderson. Later Mrs. Colmore-Williams will leave for Sydney, where she is to reside. .
Miss Gillian Gooder, Masterton, who made her debut at the Plunket Society's ball at the Exhibition last night, arrived from Christchurch yesterday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Hylton Smith, Havelock North, are visitors to Wellington for the Trentham races.
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Murray, Auckland, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. Malcolm, left by the steamer express last night --for the south on ah extended visit.'
Mrs. Jack Glading, Melbourne, and her young son are staying with Mrs. Glading"s parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Shad well, Eastbourne.
Mr. and Mrs. P. Hayden, Wanganui, are visiting Wellington and are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hayden.
Mrs. A. V. Oliver, Greymouth, is the guest of Miss Edith Tennent, Lower Hutt
Mrs. P. Black, Christchurch, who has/been spending a holiday in Wellington, will leave this evening for a visit to Nelson.
Mrs.' R. S. Black, Dunedin, is spending a few days in Wellington.
Dr. E. Baker-McLaglan, <- of the Health Department, Dunedin^ will retire at the end of March and will leave soon afterwards for a trip to Australia.
Mrs. Noel Adams, Auckland, Dominion president of the Women's Divison of the Farmers' Union, who is visiting Christchurch, left yesterday for Ashburton, where she will be entertained by the Mid-Canterbury executive. , Later she will visit South Canterbury, Otago, and Southland.
Mesdames J. Mowbray Tripp, Marmaduke Bethell, Arthur Grigg, and Miss Barbara Greenwood, Canterbury, who attended the Red Cross conference in Wellington this week, returned to Christchurch on Thursday.
Mrs. A. Green (Auckland), Miss P. NichoUs (TaiHape), Mrs. D. Laugesen, Mrs. L. Laugesen (Christchurch), Miss Gray (Materton), Mrs! J. F. Carter (Palmerston North), and Mrs. K. Pederson (Waihoharo) are staying at the Hotel St. George.
Miss J. Fernie, Miss Clayton Greene (Eltham), and Miss L: Lindsay (Nelson) are staying at the Empire Hotel.
