POULTRY PRICES
Prices of live poultry in the Wellington, market are quoted by Townsend and Paul, Ltd., as follows:— Fowls.—White Leghorns: Hens, 2s to 2s 9d each; cockerels, 9d to Is a lb; pullets, best 4s to 6s each, others 3s to 4s. Black Orpingtons: Hens, heavy 3s to 5s each, medium 2s to 3s; cockerels, heavy 9d to Is a lb, medium 9d to Is. Rhode Island Reds: Cockerers, heavy 9d to Is a lb. Ducks. —Indian Runner: Young 3s to 5s 6d each, old 2s to 4s. White: Young 3s to 6s, heavy 3s to 6s.
Geese: ■- 3s to 6s 6d each. Turkeys: Is to Is 2d a lb
