A fight above the-harbour between the pilot of a training plane and a passenger ended in the latter's death when ■ the plane plummeted into the bay. The pilot said that when over Brooklyn the passenger seized the dual control, threw the plane into a loop, and struck huh on the head with a pairiof pliers. . '.'■•." ■ The passenger apparently fell from the plane. The pilot was: rescued by a tug. . • ;
The police believe that the passenger who Jias been tentatively identified as a former theatrical Press agent, was deliberately attempting to commit suicide but instead was overcome by terror. They expressed 'the opinion that the passenger hired the plane forthat purpose. ~.:.■...
