LONDON, March 14 People are now flocking back to Helsinki and other places from which they were removed when Russian air raids began. One problem is the resettlement of people who do not wish to stay in areas surrendered to Russia. It is estimated that they number about 400,000. j Today the Finnish Government sent all available lorries and cars to start the removal of the people, and the Finnish Aid Committee has called for thousands more of relief workers. These will be recruited from the Swedish volunteers already in Finland. Sweden is reported to be providing loans and credits totalling nearly j £18,000,000 for reconstruction work, and the use of this money is to be discussed in Sweden next week between the Swedash authorities and a Finnish representative. The Finnish Government has. announced in a proclamation its intention to launchv relief schemes and to rebuild shattered homes. The work of reconstruction will demand the utmost effort and sacrifice, it is stated, but the public are reminded that through the sacrifice of their youth they have been able to keep what" they valued most— their freedom.
