PRICE OF MATERIAL
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I would like to ask why the retailers are allowed to increase the price of matches 50 per cent. I can still buy the same amount of matches required, but must buy them by the box at Id per box. If lam only alI lowed three boxes, why not three boxes for 2d, or six boxes or 4d at the rate of 8d per dozen? —I am, etc., J. TAYLOR.
