144 PLANES FOR SWEDEN
NEW YORK, February 8. *The manufacturers have accepted a Swedish order for aircraft involving 9,000,000 dollars for 144 Vultee Vanguards, with a speed of 360 miles an hour. They are attack planes with a wide range.
Britain is reported to be negotiating for the purchase of 100 of these planes.
