Sir, —As no petrol restrictions, except for super-grade spirit which is used for aviation, are in force in Australia, will the Minister who publicly stated that "Cabinet had been especially asked by Britain to impose petrol restrictions in New Zealand," explain why only this country in the Empire has received such a request?—-I am, etc.,
