MR. R. B. S. WATSON

Cabled intimation was received yesterday of the death at Wakaya Island, Fiji, of Mr. R. B. S. Watson, elder son of the late Mr. Clement Watson, for many years headmaster of Te Aro School. Mr. R. B. S. Watson was born in Wellington and educated at Te Aro School and Wellington College. After a course at an agricultural college in Australia, Mr. Watson engaged in farming in New Zealand and was well known as a successful farmer in the Waikato. Of recent years he has resided in Fiji. He is survived by a widow and one son and three daughters, and by a brother, Mr. G. G. G. Watson, and a sister, Miss Evelyn Watson, both of Wellington.
