"MORAL HOLD ON INDIA"

LONDON, February 8.
Mahatma Gandhi, in a message published in the "Daily Herald," said: "A wide gulf still exists between the British Government and Nationalist India. Reality demands that India, not Britain, should determine what India needs. There is no. analogy between the Dominions and India.
"Britain's moral victory will be assured when, by a mighty effort, she has decided to abandon her moral hold on India. 3'
