THIRD BODY FOUND
BAFFIN BOMBER DISASTER

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
The body of Aircraftman D. H. Birbeck, the third member of the crew of the Baffin bomber . which crashed in the sea at Waimairi on Monday, was found on the beach at South Brighton this morning. It had been carried seven miles south from the scene of the disaster.
Flight-Lieutenant A. D. Poulton was given a military funeral at East Eyreton this afternoon. One hundred or more officers and men from Wigram attended.
The funeral of Air-Gunner Strachan will be lield at Roxburgh, Central Otago, tomorrow.
