DENTISTS CONFER
Dental problems and the work of dentists are being discussed by representatives of the New Zealand Dental Association from all parts of New Zealand who are in conference at Wellington. Many of the delegates are accompanied by their wives and more social activities than usual have been arranged. The president of the association, Professor J. Reid Burt, of Otago University, is presiding.
The Dean of the Dental Faculty of Sydney University, Professor A. J. Arnott, is giving a series of illustrated lectures to the conference.
Last evening the delegates were entertained at a cocktail party by Mr. and Mrs. B. D. Vial, Dr. and Mrs. Murray Litchfield, Dr. and Mrs. LeeJones, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wilkinson. This afternoon a golf match and a drive around the bays have been arranged for the entertain^ tnent of the visitors.
The conference will continue tomor* row and on Friday morning, whejfl officers of the association for the coining year will be elected.
