GERMANS IN.JAPANESE SHIPS
SAN PEDRO (Cal.), January 26. -J The Japanese ship Hakusan Maru (10,380 tons),, of the Nippon Yusen Kaisha Line, sailed for Yokohama tonight with 39 German seamen aboard. The line's decision not to take further possible, combatants is believed to have been circumvented by the men swearing that they were not returning for military service. The Osaka Shosen Kaish,a Line has announced that it has refused to accept further German bookings for the duration of the war. More than 30 Germans are aboard the line's Buenos Aires Maru (9626 tons), which is scheduled to sail tonight.
