MORE ENLISTMENTS
WELLINGTON RETURNS
Yesterday 32 recruits from the Wellington and Hutt Valley area enlisted j for service with the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, thus bringing the total since the depots first opened in September to 3565, which includes 177 officers. Those recruits so far medically exainined have been classified as follows:—-Fit, 2226; temporarily unfit, 359; permanently unfit, 458; sent to camp, 1833; in reserved occupations and therefore not available, 71; balance available for posting to camp, 322.
