BRISBANE, This Day.
Eight people died in Queensland yesterday as a result of the greatest heat the - State has known. Forty-three people collapsed in. Brisbane,. Temperatures "in the country districts ranged up to 115 degrees. Brisbane's reading, 109.8deg., was the highest on record. ,
