Many of Britain's best-known actors and actresses have, during the past eight weeks, taken part in entertainments in France for the benefit of1 troops of the British Expeditionary Force. These shows are organised by the gpting profession, and in two months 383 living entertainments and 563 cinema performances have been seen, by 460,810 men.
