RUMANIAN OIL SITUATION
COMPANY'S INTERESTS

WASHINGTON, January 25,
The State Department is watching the Rumanian oil situation closely since the Allies gave warning of grave consequences if the British and French controlled companies are compelled to deliver oil to Germany. It indicated that the United States will act only if the controversy embroiled a RumanianAmerican company which is annually producing 6,385,000 barrels of oil.
