PIPE BANDS
DELAY IN CONTEST
Dominion pipe band contest events set down for today were not held, because of the heavy rain, but were transferred to Sunday. Tonight in the Town Hall the Bi grade test selections will be given, interspersed with concert items. Tomorrow the A grade bands will participate in the street march, which begins at 1 p.m. at the corner of Kent Terrace and Vivian Street, and in the quickstep, stave nourishing, and drum majors' display at Athletic Park, where the programme will oegin at 2 p.m. A grade test selections will be heard in the Town Hall tomorrow night, and on Sunday afternoon the B grade bands will repeat tomorrow's programme.
