CRASHES TO ORDER.

Novel Attraction,

Tomorrow night at Kilbirnie Stadium, Reg. Kavanagh will present a novel attraction. Cars will be crashed head and side-ori at terrific speed, catapulted through walls of flame, and rolled over. Motorists and film fans will be especially interested in this show. As holder of the world's stunt title and three world's' records, Kavanagh is a most amazing person. He is very quiet and his hobbies are tennis'and polo. But when in action in aeroplanes or cars he is a different man. As one Australian paper said: "He has the most uncanny judgment and nerves of steel. At Olympic Park Kavanagh crashed two cars so successfully that when he climbed put of the wreckage of his car practically unhurt everyone, on the .ground was pleasantly surprised. Kavanagh had a sedan car parked in the centre of the ground and then drove another sedan into it at 40 m.p.h. He crashed into the front of the stationary car and turned it at right angles. His own car turned'over and somersaulted twice, and the. whole of the roof caved in to steering .vheel level. As the car lay on its top clouds of smoke rose and it was feared that a fire would blaze but before Kavanagh could be rescued. Suddenly Kavanagh crawled out dusting himself and rubbing a badly wrenched back. The crowd stood up and absolutely roared their applause. His 3Qft leap through a wall of flame earlier in the evening was one of the most amazing sights ever-seen in Melbourne." Appearing with Kavanagh will be Jack Watt, well known to Wellington sporting fans as a speedway rider.
