LONDON, January 24. "

Flying high, three planes, believed to be German bombers, over the Shetland Islands, dropped six bombs, four on the central mainland, where there are no military objectives, and two at points which'have not been located. No damage is reported. ' One plane resembling a Heinkel dived towards a steamer moored alongside a quay, but did not attack. The air raid warning lasted 31 minutes.

British fighters went up, but failed to make contact with the raiders, who, according to an eye-witness, dodged behind high clouds. \
