CANADIAN DIVISION
INSPECTION BY THE KING
(British Official Wireless.) (Received January 25, 1&0 p.m.)
RUGBY, January 24.
The King today inspected the Canadian Division. He saw many young men who last year had travelled miles to catch a glimpse of his Majesty during his Dominion tour. The King was received at Canadian headquarters by General MacNaughton and the Canadian High Commissioner. Altogether his' Majesty spent over five hours with the division, and amongst other units reviewed the 22nd Royal Infantry Regiment, which is entirely composed of French-Canadians, many of whom do not speak English.
