RUGBY, January 24.
French war .correspondents attached to General Headquarters of the B.E.F. who are at present in England paid a visit today to a big armoured fighting vehicle school in the Southern Command. They saw tank instructors and tank gunners being trained to drive and fire both on practice ranges and on the driving ground.
Afterwards M. Andre Maurois said that they were 'all extraordinarily impressed not only by the magnitude of the effort Great Britain was making but also by the high quality of her material and by the high standard of intelligence among the non-commis-sioned officers and men.
