It is officially stated in Istanbul that Turkey will shortly sign a trade agreement with Oermany involving not more than £1,500,000.
The agreement is based on the exchange of German chemicals, pharmaceutics, manufactures, and industrial raw materials for Turkish cotton, wool, fruit, and cereals. No time limit is set. Germany accepts full shipping and other transport risks, including the possibility of confiscation, and agrees to the delivery of German goods at Turkish ports.
