There is a possibility that the Carterton and Wairarapa South County memorial in connection with the Centenary will take the form of new swimming baths, says the "Wairarapa Daily News." A meeting of the works committee of. the, Carterton Borough Council, together with an engineer, yesterday inspected a- site in Carrington Park.: In..the opinion of the. engineer the site is practicable.
