CENTENNIAL FLOWER SHOW
A general meeting of delegates and stewards in connection with the forthcoming Centennial Flower Show was held in the Town Hall last evening. Mrs. Knox Gilmer • presided, and reported that several executive meetings had ;been held and that the arrangements were well in hand. - A record show of flowers for the celebrations was anticipated. .
The show will be held in three rootes at the Exhibition, the Assembly Hall, the dining-room, and the receptionroom. Lighting, staging, and ventila-' tion have been arranged. Entries have been received* from all over; the Dominion, and entrants will find the hall ready for stands on Monday -next. ■'■■'-....■
The show forms part of the celebrations of Horticultural Week* during which several conferences, including the Horticultural Trades Association, Directors of Parks ahd Reserves, and Seedsmen and Florists will be held.
