In a Sheffield Shield cricket match against Victoria yesterday Queensland made 244 (Brown 60, Cook 64, Allen 42—Ring three for 71, Fleetwood-Smith three for 77, Johnson three for 16). Victoria, at stumps, had made 28 for no wickets.
