Handicap, and the Avondale Foley Memorial Handicap. Lucy Rose was placed at the stud by Mr. A. E. Lennard, a son of the ]ate Mr. J. Lennard, and Lou Rosa is her first foal. Mr. Lennard has raced only a few horses since he took over the breeding from the line started by his father, and Lou Rosa is the first to have carried his jacket since Lucy Rose and Gay Rose.
