MR. J. C. H. MOFFITT
This week the death took place in Wellington, at the age of eighty, of John Charles Henry Moffitt, eldest son of one of the early Wellington settlers, the late 'Mr. John Lindsay Moffitt, who in the last century was in practice in Wellington as a surgeon dentist. Mr. J. C. H. Moffitt was for many years in the office of E. W. Mills and Co., where his kindly disposition commended him to both staff and public. His death occurred at 35 Bidwell Street, after a short illness. His wife died twenty years ago; two daughters and.two sons survive them. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. F. Read, of Taranaki, and Mrs. J- TS. Moore, of Brooklyn.
