BAD SMASH
MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED
Serious . injuries which included a compound fracture of the right leg, a fractured right thigh, and a lacerated wound to the scalp ana shock were sustained by A. J. Higgins, aged 25, a' factory hand, of 8 Ventnor Street, Seatoun, when a motor-cycle he was riding collided with a car at the junction of Willis and Ghuznee Streets at 4.30 a.m. today. There were four passengers in the car, but all escaped injury.
The injured man was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
The condition of Higgins, which is serious, was reported to be unchanged this afternoon. ' ..
