NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day
Pilot-Officer R. J. C. Grant, of Ponsonby, Auckland, crashed in a Moth machine when engaged in practice landings at the Flying School at New Plymouth this morning. It is) understood that the engine stalled at about 200 feet and the plane crashed in a paddock across the road from the aerodrome. The machine was considerably damager1 but the pilot escaped with only minor injury.
