DUPONT POWDER WORKS

A spokesman for the Dupont Company, one of whose powder factory units was destroyed by an explosion yesterday, heatedly denied reports that extra guards' had been posted to prevent' sabotage. He said a heavy guard was maintained constantly to prevent unauthorised persons entering the
works,
