ORGAN RECITAL.

At the Town Hall on Sunday night next at 8.30 Maxwell Fernie will give an organ recital, assisted by the Wellington tenor, Ray Trewern. A feature of the recital will be the inclusion of a group of items for strings and also a group from the "Nutcracker Suite" of Tschaikowsky, which has been transcribed for the organ by the recitalist. Other items will be the Prelude and Fugue in D Major by Bach and a Toccato by Widor, as well as short numbers by early composers. Ray Trewern will sing the ever-popu-lar "Ombra Mai Fu," by Handel, and "Total Eclipse," also by Handel. He will be accompanied in these two Hems on the organ. Other tenor solos will be "Lend Me Your Aid," by Gounod, and "A Dream," by Grieg. Bryan McMillan will accompany on the piano.
