TRAWLERS DETAINED

WASHINGTON, December 11
Five trawlers purchased by France as minesweepers have been detained pending a ruling by the AttorneyGeneral whether Germany would be entitled to damages from the United States in the event of the vessels damaging German property. Three others sailed earlier.
