MOUNT MORGAN FIRE
SEVENTEEN SHOPS RAZED
(Received December 13, 9 a.m.) . BRISBANE, December 12. A report from the Mount Morgan mining field states that a fire there overnight razed seventeen shops and practically wiped out the main business centre of Mount Morgan. The damage is estimated at £50,000. The origin of the fire is unknown.
