"Letters have been received in the War Office, London, from persons in New Zealand who have previously registered their names in the Army Officers' Emergency Reserve, asking whether they should return to the United Kingdom," said the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) today. "The Army Council desire it to be known that such persons should not return to the United Kingdom to serve, unless they are specially called for with a view to their being offered military employment."
